Accommodation:

4 bedrooms  (3 on first floor one on ground floor)- all with super  kingsize beds. All bedrooms can divide into seperate single  beds except the Voyager  which is a permanent super kingsize.

All beds are pocket sprung ( some Vi Spring mattresses) with Egyptian cotton sheets.

2 full bathrooms plus 2 en suite shower/wc/basin

Kitchen, seperate utility room, dinning room, lounge and conservatory

Lounge with art from South African (left) and Singapore artists. Below is a different angle of the lounge but with different artwork which has been replaced with those in this picture. New additional sofa now added as from Dec 2010

"Upper Deck" -this is the bedroom with the en suite shower/toilet room shown below. it has a decking area shown on the first page of this website. It can be split into two singles on request. Large TV connected to sky. 

This is the en suite shower room for the room above - small with shower and soft close toilet seat. The mirror has auto movement detector lights with an electric shaving point to the right -it is not a cabinet so don't pull it off th wall!  

"Voyager" - this room has the most magnificent views and with its luxury en suite below is a 6 star room - you can see the sun rise and sea from your bed. It is permanently made up as a super kingsize.  37 inch Sony bravia plasma TV connected to sky. This room now has a luxury en suite bathroom ( see pictures below) with view on to the sea: villeroy &  Boch toilet/basin ; aqualisa varispray shower head;  cifial 3/4 inch shower valve with megalflow pressure ; cabinet with electric shaver point and halogen light; frameless shower door; 1 200 mm by 900 mm shower tray; fully tiled Italian porcelain (limestone) plus the best view!

Power shower with dualstream water supply and megaflow. This shower  and the other en suite shower room are supported  by a 300 litre hot tank with both direct and indirect heating  and a dual stream cold tank to make sure you have an excellent power shower that can be taken at the same time as  the other shower and all the baths are run in the house without any loss of flow rate.

"Pirate Room" - This room faces the road at the front of the house - it has a small cupboard( den) of it. It can be made up as a supwer kingsize on request. There is a den off this room with some cuddly toys and toy clothes for your children to play with.

"Techno Room"  This is not an updated picture - the room now has curtians and horizontal blinds plus sof  yellow pine bed size tables. This is the room downstairs - it can be made up as two singles on request.  It has the controls for the sound system which has speakers throughout the house. You can listen to music in all or some rooms from the cd player. It has the wi fi hub and sky box. Small Tv and i pod docking clock radio.

The conservatory with wonderful sea views.

You can sit and eat on the decking and enjoy the view of the beach either towards Bournemouth and Sandbanks or the other way to Hengistbury Head nature reserve and the Isle of White.

Beach View welcomes children and toddlers with the safe sandy beaches. We made sure our decking was set  back from the boundry wall.

The front of the house - described by the Guardian ravel correspondent ( see page 2 of this site) as Tardis - transporting you from suburbia into a wild sea scape and " a very happy house, imbued with a lovely
atmosphere"

In the dining  room  at low level there is an authentic dolls house for your kids and adults to play with the China dolls and furniture inside the dolls house only please. CHOKING RISK FOR YOUNG CHILDREN SO PLEASE PLACE THE CONTENTS AT HIGH LEVEL IF YOU HAVE BABIES OR YOUNG CHILDREN                     



In Southbourne is one of the country's largest doll house and miniatures shop and supplier - pay them a visit if you want to  treat your kid - see www.harlequins.uk.com at 93 Southbourne Grove 01202 434252. ( If you mention Beach View you will get at least 5% off and what ever else you can negotiate).
